Equifax’s website was breached again
After Equifax’s website was breached by attackers who made of with personal information of over 150 million people. Again yesterday the site was compromised, this time to deliver fraudulent Adobe Flash updates, which when clicked, infected visitors’ computers with adware that was detected by only three of 65 antivirus providers.
Independent security analyst Randy Abrams discovered the hack earlier this week. Eventually, his browser opened up a page on the domain hxxp:that looked like this:
